About Gospel Art Day
GAD is the acronym for Gospel Art Day. As the name implies, it is dedicated to sharing the gospel through art. The Gospel Art Day Movement is designed to encourage believers to use their creativity with intentionality to communicate truth and foster a kingdom agenda.
The Story of Gospel Art Day
Born during the COVID-19 quarantine, GAD began as an online campaign launched on July 27, 2020. The gospel resonated across multiple online platforms, drawing creatives and believers. Theme: "Unashamed."
Romans 8:16: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes..."

GAD ventured into the physical world. Students rallied in Bosso, Futminna, engaging in street drama, distributing tracts, and holding placards, marking a shift to real-world impact.

Focus shifted to proclaiming Jesus Christ. Church events were organized in Gwagwalada, Abuja, and Makurdi, Benue State, embracing diverse creative expressions.

Core mission: reach individuals with God's Word. Distributed "Gospel Jotters" in Minna (streets & prison) and extended reach to Makurdi via evangelism outreach.

GAD community has grown to 100+ members, united to serve Christ. Vision: continue mission annually until Christ's return, making every day a "Gospel Art Day" of unashamed declaration and creative light.
